HMV - BOOM!

HMV commercial to promote their spring sale, using an expolsove 'BOOM!' text device rather than simply saying the word 'SALE'. This was achieved with an extremely tight deadline of only a week using Cinema 4D's modynamics to create the exploding trypeface, particle collisions and bullet time effect. Additional particles were then added in After Effects using Trapcodes Particular to pad the scene out, and also to apply the resonating smoke. Multiple passes were then rendered including a bespoke tracking pass for the online editor, who was then able to swap out product artwork when updates were required.
